stateside

Stateside was founded in July of 2006, after lead vocalist Eves had asked Matt Smith and Nick Hartman to accompany her on her self titled E.P. (www.myspace.com/evakathrynmusic)

During the rehearsals the three decided to form a band. The trio played with several other musicians until Eves was finally introduced to lead guitarist Dustin Mauck. Dustin was quickly ushered in and the four began practicing together and writing original material. Later, Hartman felt his place was needed elsewhere and decided to leave the band on good terms. Patrick Unrein, was later asked to take the position.
