Welcome to the homepage of EXCLUSIVE VIBES "THE VERSATILE SOUND"! Our sound system hails straight out of The Bronx & Queens, New York consisting of three members, DJ Legin, DJ Stamina, & Dark Knight aka Batman. We represent the island of Montserrat. Our history goes way back to 1995. Before this time, Dark Knight created mixtapes for various people. While we were on a summer vacation in our homeland, the beautiful Emerald Isle of Montserrat in 1995, our cousin Addie Fresh introduced us to the professional music business. For those not familiar with the Caribbean, Montserrat is an island in the West Indies neighboring to Antigua, St. Kitts & Nevis, & Guadeloupe. Fresh taught us how to mix using only turntables. After practicing a couple of times, Legin quickly grasped the technique and mastered it. It was here where he started out as a part-time selecta for the original X-Terminator Sound, better known as X-Terminator Fresh Supreme. Under the influence of Addie Fresh, owner of that sound, he had the dream and ambition to one day create his own sound. He knew that the sound business would be expensive so he started saving up for it. Throughout the years, he developed many different talented skills in mixing and delivering to the crowd. The compliments just kept coming to give him encouragement. In the Summer of 2004, Legin's dream came true and Exclusive Vibes was officially born. He acquired the professional DJ equipment and space to hold it. Stamina & Dark Knight immediately took interest in the sound. Stamina started to master his mixing capability. Legin then met Massapan at a dance, who invited him to take a pass at radio station WUSB 90.1FM located right on Stony Brook University's Campus. Here he met Kibret, Angella, Hepcat, & DJ Cut Supreme. After being impressed by the DJ'ing skills of Legin, they suggested that he become a part time selecta for the radio station. Legin gained their trust and became part of WUSB family. Kibret gave him access to thousands of records, which he never allowed anyone to touch before. Legin filled in for the Reggae shows such as "Reggae Fever" and the on-going "No Sound Test" on Thursdy Nights from 10pm-12am with Massapan & Kibret. Legin even held down full radio shows various times by himself. Exclusive Vibes Sound is also a favorite in WUSB's bi-yearly Reggae Marathon. We always put a twist in the music we play, in which a lot of people request and listen from all areas of the world. The phone calls never stop coming in. We cover everybody and make it a carribean thing! It was on this same radio station where we had the opportunity to select longside other sounds such as Stone Love, Down Beat, LP Int'l, Road Int'l, Sting Int'l, Pretty Posse, & Shashamane just to name a few. They have played in their homeland Montserrat, Boston, and various establishments throughout New York. Their goal is to advance into more clubs and onto more radio stations where others can discover their stylish talents and mixing capabilities. We love their caribbean culture! OUR CURRENT PROJECT IS PLAYING LIVE & DIRECT ON WWW.LARGERADIO.COM EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT 8PM EST - Until & Through 97.5FM Caribbean Connections @ 11PM whenever we extend our show. We are also part of Trinifly Promotions & Black Roots Promotions where we help to promote our artists on de soca/reggae scene. We also put on sum serious concerts/events! I'm a huge fan of Soca, Calypso, Zouk, Bouyon, Kaiso, & Reggae. We have to keep the caribbean culture alive! Carnival is the best time around the year for me. For NY, Miami, Boston, Montserrat, or any of the others, I will be jumping up in a band wukking up behind a gal. I love to wuk up my waistline with females who know how to do the same.
