h It's All About Me

Kennesha is my name, but anyone who has seen 'A Different World' would think of Dwayne Wayne's job at Kinishewa Electronics and associate a nickname.... And there you have it! Of course, I had to change up the spelling a bit.
Anyway, I have been up to a lot of things. All good of course. I published my first Bible-based poetry book entitled, "A Word in Due Season" a good while ago. I can draw, sing, and anything that I put my mind to do. If I don't know something, I'll ask or search on the internet. It's amazing what you can find on the net. Yes, I am heavily into computers - hardware & software to some degree in both. As some people would say, I am a human computer. It's funny, but I guess you can say that it's true... but I have an artistic/creative mind as well.
So I attend Hebron Cornerstone Church International .
When you get a chance, come out and visit. Trust, you will not be disappointed.

You Have a Choleric Temperament

You are a person of great enthusiasm - easily excited by many things. Unsatisfied by the ordinary, you are reaching for an epic, extraordinary life. You want the best. The best life. The best love. The best reputation. You posses a sharp and keen intellect. Your mind is your primary weapon. Strong willed, nothing can keep you down. Your energy can break down any wall. You're an instantly passionate person - and this passion gives you an intoxicating power over others.
At your worst, you are a narcissist. Full of yourself and even proud of your faults. Stubborn and opinionated, you know what you think is right. End of discussion. A bit of a misanthrope, you often see others as weak, ignorant, and inferior.

What Temperment Are You?
What Kennesha Means

You are a seeker of knowledge, and you have learned many things in your life. You are also a keeper of knowledge - meaning you don't spill secrets or spread gossip. People sometimes think you're snobby or aloof, but you're just too deep in thought to pay attention to them.
You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.
You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.
You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong. You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.
You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out. Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality.

My Interests

Music

I forgot to mention that I am a musician. I play the piano primarily. I can also play the flute, bassoon and alto saxphone. I have been teaching piano over three years now. I am not taking anymore students so please, please don't ask. Workload is a bit much right now. I just wanted to mention what I do :) I am primarily a classical pianist who has ventured into playing gospel, jazz and contemporary.

Dance

I have been really into the latin dances particularly salsa and merengue since March 16,2006. I have been getting pretty good at it. I soak it all in like a sponge. If you are around me long enough, you are bound to hear me say something about dancing. I don't care who you are.

A Personal Goal

A personal goal of mine is to compete in a salsa competition. One of the things that has been holding me back is having a dance partner. I started to pick up on the guy's leading on the waltz and chicago steppin'. I am not saying that I am a pro. I am far from it. I think that when you have the ability to teach, you can almost teach anything. "Almost".

Books:

Spoken Word: Rap? Who raps? Not I. I don't need music to backup my flow, just a pen and paper. Just to make myself clear, I like to use a lot of inflection in my voice to convey my message. That's my flow, however, words written to rhyme can find a time signature and a key to express the message musically.

Excerpts from my book, "A Word In Due Season"

Poem: "The Essence of Our Being"

...She loves the one she follows;
she’ll follow him to the valley deep-
She encourages his every footstep
to climb that mountain steep...
...Who can find a virtuous woman?
For her price is far above rubies -
Her soul lights up all darkness,
far beyond the mighty seas...

Heroes:

First and foremost, Jesus Christ... Jacked up and confused, He has brought me out of some tight situations and has made me new. No matter how bad things may look and seem, God can bring you out!!!

Jeremiah 11:32 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

A Peculiar Evolution

I really like this spoken word piece. It's really deep in its content while it makes you see how society has allowed us to depicted all races into a word used so casually.    -Key ...
