About Me

"One day at a time--this is enough"
Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering." If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, then let it.
I'm out of the ordinary, nyc is my home so I can be tough, but I smile a lot (when i like u) and am nice to everyone (sometimes). I am spiritual. I'm grounded and would consider myself to be a realist but believe in happily everafter therefore contradiction occurs . Spending time and having fun with the people and the things that I love most...my family, my friends. I also crave and need my time alone. I have many interests but I'm always up for trying something new that challenges me mentally, physically or spiritually...anything that makes me feel alive through laughter or excitement or just appreciating the simple pleasures of what's surrounding me in the moment. I love laughing so hard till my stomach hurts and I can't breathe. I am independent in addition to being old fashioned. Anyone that knows me will affirm that my heart beats to the rhythm of pop music lol. I like to move-it move-it and audition for American Idol everyday even if i don't know the lyrics... My lips are always glossed, and saying i love makeup is a understatement. I'm a bit addicted to taking pictures of everyone-thing lol My love is running nothing clears my mind than a 3 mile run. I am picky with people but ill try to find the good in everyone.. = only the tip of the iceberg.. haha

My Interests

Everyday I see and learn something brand new!! I get up when I fall and I walk a little taller and I laugh a little harder at myself each time. I am so grateful for each extra day that I'm given to live...it's one more day I can work at trying to get it right!!! When it's over I want people to remember me for my ever evolving heart and soul and my laughter...not by where I lived, what car I drove and what clothes I wore. I want people to laugh and smile at my crazy silliness when they remember me and to know that I always did the best that I knew how at that moment and strived to learn from my mistakes. “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think, we become.”-Buddha

I'd like to meet:

I think we meet everyone for a reason even if it's just in the moment and in passing. (A simple word or gesture from someone can result in a whole paradigm shift or epiphany). We just have to be able to recognize what that reason is and then decide where they fit or don't fit in our life...we keep them close...or as an acquaintance or not at all. Sometimes we figure it out very quickly, sometimes great friendships grow over time. I don't always have to have something in common with the people I meet. It's refreshing to meet people with different interests and views...it opens my eyes wider and expands my world. Either way...everyone contributes something and we learn from that

Music:

...is within people: so they are not afraid, so they can be closer to one another, so they can find themselves in each other. Music is not only a gift, but also a service, not only a work, but also a struggle; not only a mission, but also a message. ~Marketa Prochaskova
