Everyday I see and learn something brand new!! I get up when I fall and I walk a little taller and I laugh a little harder at myself each time. I am so grateful for each extra day that I'm given to live...it's one more day I can work at trying to get it right!!! When it's over I want people to remember me for my ever evolving heart and soul and my laughter...not by where I lived, what car I drove and what clothes I wore. I want people to laugh and smile at my crazy silliness when they remember me and to know that I always did the best that I knew how at that moment and strived to learn from my mistakes. “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think, we become.â€-Buddha
I think we meet everyone for a reason even if it's just in the moment and in passing. (A simple word or gesture from someone can result in a whole paradigm shift or epiphany). We just have to be able to recognize what that reason is and then decide where they fit or don't fit in our life...we keep them close...or as an acquaintance or not at all. Sometimes we figure it out very quickly, sometimes great friendships grow over time. I don't always have to have something in common with the people I meet. It's refreshing to meet people with different interests and views...it opens my eyes wider and expands my world. Either way...everyone contributes something and we learn from that
...is within people: so they are not afraid, so they can be closer to one another, so they can find themselves in each other. Music is not only a gift, but also a service, not only a work, but also a struggle; not only a mission, but also a message. ~Marketa Prochaskova

"The very essence of literature is the war between emotion and intellect, between life and death. When literature becomes too intellectual -- when it begins to ignore the passions, the emotions -- it becomes sterile, silly, and actually without substance."
