THE INFAMOUS erupted onto the Chicago scene with their late 1998 debut album BULLETPROOF CADILLAC. The record was released to rave reviews in underground zines and Chicago radio.
A loyal following was built in record time thanks to many early shows at high profile venues, including House of Blues, Metro, The Vic, Double Door to name a few landmark clubs. Early on they were asked to play the 3-act showcase with DISTURBED the evening they were signed. They went on to hook up with many hometown heroes and national acts, including , GWAR, SOIL, D.R.I., KITTIE, NONPOINT, AMERICAN HEADCHARGE, NO-ONE and many more.
In the summer of 2002 THE INFAMOUS was hand-picked by the legendary FILTER to kick off the "AMALGAMUT" cd release and played to a sold out crowd at Chicagos House of Blues. The show helped the relationship between FILTERS Frank Cavanagh and THE INFAMOUS grow, and so for the second release, THE INFAMOUS...HIT LIST they acquired Mr. Cavanagh and his considerable talents for production of the album. It has since been on heavy rotation on Chicagos REBEL RADIO, TRITON RADIO WRRG, and q101s local show,as well as 94.7 the Zone. THE INFAMOUS are also getting spins in New York, Mexico and Europe.
Late 2003 THE INFAMOUS released the 3rd full length, once again co-produced by F. Cavanagh, entitled: THE INFAMOUS...MADE, and it seems that T.I. just keeps getting stronger, as soon as the single LIAR off the new CD was made public on garageband.com it rocketed to the ..1 slot on the metal charts in 3 days!
They were subsequently featured as the band of the day, and received a plethora of highly enthusiastic reviews.
THE INFAMOUS are currently back at home working on new material with their newest acquisition, guitar legend Louis Svitek (MINISTRY/MINDFUNK/M.O.D.) for the 4th album
