About Me

I am happily married to my husband Rick. Together we have 3 children from previous marriages. Our daughters are the mother's of our 5 grandchildren and our son is in the military, finally finishing his tour in South Korea. Life is pretty wonderful when the parents, children and grandchildren are doing super. When I am not working at my job as a "Medical Assistant" in a very busy family practice doctor's office, I am enjoying my log cabin in the woods that Rick and I own in Indiana. Indiana may not be the most beautiful state in America, but it is heaven on Earth when you share it with those family members and friends you love.

My Interests

I love to cook, care for my family/ friends and so enjoy shopping for antiques with my husband as we travel around from place to place. Naps are nice when I have had a long week at the workplace!!!

Family and friends are welcome....no nonsense or trash talk please...I am a mother and grandmother, ya know!!!

Music:

Christian, Country, Jazz, pop rock. I love Celine Dion, Clay Aiken, Carrie Underwood, Yanni,and Classic 70's rock

Movies:

Classics and love stories. Scarey movies are out of the question....just ask my kids!!!!

Television:

Lifetime and HGTV are the top on the favorite stations I love to watch "House", "CSI" and "American Idol"

Books:

I don't have time to read alot of books, but I do read magazines. I read "Leatherneck"....all you Marines know what I am talking about! I also love home decorating magazines.

Heroes:

God.... Firefighters ( which happens to be my wonderful husband ), Men and Women who serve their country ( I love you, David!) Housewives and mothers....you go girls...been there/done that...........one of my favorite and most rewarding jobs!
