About Me

My name is Marea, but I am more commonly known as "Clare." I am probably your typical artistic geek. My passion for art consists of photography, videography, drawing, and writing. Art has always been one of my favorite classes growing up. I am attending the University of Central Florida. I hope to eventually pursue a Film Production major, but until I get accepted into the limited access program, I am pursuing Cinema Studies.
In my free time...you can find me...you guessed it...drawing, taking pictures, or working on various video projects. I have gained a lot of experience with videoediting and even shooting my own Public Service Announcement while working as an intern Producer at The Education Channel is Sarasota, Florida.
If anyone is interested in checking out some of my artwork, check it out at http://mareaclare.deviantart.com I'm not the best artist out there, but I think I'm growing...so hopefully one day I can wow people!!
I finally want to say that I love meeting new people, and especially reuniting with old friends.
Quick Facts About Me and My Interests:
~*~ My Inspiration to pursure Film/Videography was my tribute to September 11, 2001 that I created in Winter/Spring of 2002 for an 8th grade History project.
~*~ My guilty pleasure is Native American Indian Historical Romance Novels
~*~ I'm a major geek...and that's not just because of my love for art...I loved watching Star Trek, X-Files, watching meteor showers, using my computer, AND was in band in middle school (Clarinet, biotches!!).
~*~ My favorite movies when I was little (besides Aladdin, The Lion King, and Mother Goose Rock-N-Rhyme) were the Star Wars trilogy and Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark...I'd watch them on TNT whenever they were on.
~*~ I can eat the same food item for every meal of every day for months...then I get tired of it and wont touch it for weeks...months...or even years, depending.
~*~ Likewise, I'd play the same song over and over again before moving onto another song...but I still do like variety sometimes...lol
~*~ I often dance around my room and sing in front of my mirror so I could pretend I was a performer (who didn't have stage fright). Plus, I just like to have fun and be crazy.
~*~ As a kid, I played tennis, soccer, and ran in a few races. I tried giving ballet a shot, but it conflicted with my other athletic activities.
~*~ I find vocals a person sings (that aren't actual words but more just a sound...hard to explain) and Native American music to be quite sexy.
~*~ I *LOVE* family get-togethers. I'm just a big family person.
~*~ I have two wonderful cats, and am inseperable from my female cat, Heather. We pretty much grew up together...I got her when I was eight years old, and so she's been around during my most difficult times in life.
~*~ My Heritage consists of seven different nationalities: German, Polish, Russian, Scottish, English, Irish, and Souix Indian
