About Me

Myspace Contact TablesSo much has changed of late that i feel i have to re-write this. Out with the old, and in with the new! Amen to that! Most things about me remain the same. My world still revolves around my family and friends, and what i want the most in life is a family i can call my own. The main difference now is that iv finally laid my past to rest. It doesnt own me anymore, and now i have clearer goals and visions which i have no doubt i will fulfill. I am so fortunate with the people i have in my life, and i hope that will never change. I still believe in love above all things and hold it in high esteem. I realise i have been giving out unhealthy vibes and in return, thats what i have been attracting. The biggest realisation has been that I have been limiting myself because of stupid thoughts i have had. Well, thats the old me, and this is the new me. Positive, hopeful and above all, grateful. Im comfortable that im not the loudest person in the room, and that i sometimes like to be on my own. I trust easily, and that has caused hurt in the past, so im a bit more guarded these days. However, I will still give anyone the benefit of the doubt, at least once. I am not vindictive, and don't care enough to hate anyone. But i will lay my life down for my friends and family. Music is a big part of my life, one of my biggest passions after kids. I love travelling and have been fortunate enough to visit a few countries. Career-wise, im not quite sure which way the path will lead. But that suits me just fine, because i want to do something that im really passionate about. I have a few ideas, and something will work out. In the meantime, i am in my final year at uni studying accountancy, so i will work at that. For now, im content.....very content indeed...Likes: Kids, Music, the older generation who no-one seems to be interested in these days... the wisdom that comes from an older person never ceases to amaze me, Tony Robbins.. dude is clued up, and regardless of how much money he makes, he gives back enough to justify his position in life and having attended one of his courses i can safely say .. he kicks ass! Tennis, Running (although I have a love-hate relationship with running!) being able to speak 4-ish languages, being brown so i dont have to worry about tanning, Generous people who give back to those who dont have, anyone who has followed their heart and not given up, having morals and principles and values of my own, South Park (even though i sometimes cant eat when watching it!), having the freedom to make my own choices. ..Dislikes: Football and all the hooliganism that goes with English football, British weather, Unfit parents, Vain, fake people, Free-loaders, Users, PC's (its all about the MAC!) Judgemental so and so's, ppl taking the piss out of me cos im welsh and therefore referring to me as a sheep shagger!! lol...... poverty, injustice, homelessness, cancer and debilitating diseases, most politicians, corruption, war, domestic violence, violence, all forms of discrimination, racism, reality tv of the Big Brother nature, Back-stabbers, Religious fanatics (people need to live and let live), Spiders (hell anything that moves that isnt human), driving on the WRONG side of the road almost everywhere else!

My Interests

Im WELSH....if its good enough for Catherine Zeta Jones... its good enough for me!!!!My main passion is music, the only problem is, when i sing, only cats and dogs can hear the noise that comes out of my mouth lol... but im better that the cheeky girls (dont get me started on them!), i used to play the piano a long while ago and want to get back into that, iv started to learn to play the guitar (I had to cut my finger nails to do that, may they RIP!) Other than music, my next passion is people!! I hate all forms of discrimination (or religion as it is turning out to be these days!) and hate judgemental people. You gots to just live and let live people!! I love driving, and for all the criticism i get with my driving, i havent had an accident yet (and no thats not as a result of the driving skills of people around me thank you very much!!) My friends and family are and always will be numero uno in my eyes. IAll i want is the chance to show you that money doesnt buy happiness, that all we need is love.... that the sky, the moon, the sun and the stars... are the most beautiful things in the world if you just stopped to take a look....that looks do not define a person, nor does their occupation.....that respect must be earned... that relationships are everything.... that a broken heart will heal... that you shouldnt walk away on the first, second or third hurdle... some things are worth fighting for... as nothing worth having comes easy... that no one is perfect... but someone loves us unconditionally... that life is yours for the taking, if you would only take it.. and that happiness comes from inside.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is vaguely interesting... has a sense of humour, can get sarcasm (I am the queen of sarcasm!!) and has a zest for life! I will chat to anyone, at least once!! However if u are on an ego trip (oh my gawd look how many friends i have on myspace... that does not make u popular!!!) please save me the hassle of deleting ur ass from my friends list. I like to be able to converse with ppl on my friends list from time to time, if not, im really not interested. You dont have to look or act a certain way... but if you are 'up ur own arse' then i wont humour you.. i have better things to be doing with my time.... I draw the line at serial killers, i dont do the 'chopped up in the freezer' look very well. Not too keen on chavs (safe init bruv!) and as long as u dont take yourself too seriously, then get in touch... and i will defo get back to you.

Heroes:

How does one define a hero? What noble deeds must you have acheieved to become said hero? In my eyes, we are all heroes!! Everyone of us have overcome some difficulty in our lives, or worked hard to achieve something. Be true to yourself, and thats what set heroes apart! That said, a few people do come into mind...My mum.. for always being there, regardless, Muhammad Ali.. for refusing to compromise or give up, Anne Frank.. for her diary that made it possible to get a taste of what the holocaust was like, My Nana (RIP).... for showing me that that blood is not thicker than water, and you can love someone like they are your own, even if they arent, for showing me the true meaning of unconditional love and for all the happy memories i have of her.. forever in my heart, Mahatma Gandhi... for showing us that you can achieve peace through ahimsa (non violence) and for bringing a new meaning to the word tolerance, Lance Armstrong.... for his sheer dertermination to succeed (read his book, its mind blowing!), Mother Teresa... for showing the world that its not all about 'me' and that one person can make a difference, Art Berg... i have never been more moved and touched by reading a book.. it really changed my life for the better.. his no nonsense approach to life despite his horrific injuries humbled me and taught me gratitude.. may his soul rest in peace, Rosa Parks... for standing up to discrimination and respecting herself above all.Anyone who has struggled and made it through, or followed their heart... you are all heroes, and an inspiration.
