I like to travel, play guitar, sing out of tune to myself, listen to other people sing in tune, relax to my iPod (almost always set to shuffle), ride my bike, read a good book. I have an on-again off-again relationship with running and yoga. I like the outdoors: hiking, canoeing, kayaking. I'm eager to be fluent in spanish and have plans to backpack through South America in the very near future.

I'm pretty picky and commonly turn off movies half way through. I like movies with good stories and interesting characters. My all-time favorites: The Princess Bride and The Goonies.Worst movie I've ever seen that other people seem to like: The Fast and the Furious
I read fiction pretty exclusively. Most recently I've been into the works of Orson Scott Card, particularly the "Ender's Game" series. "Ender's Game" is the book I most often recommend to others. My favorite classic book is the "Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck.Bill Bryson's "A Walk in the Woods" is one of the only books that's ever made me laugh out loud.
