About Me

Well heres a low down on me anyway.
A true gent Debonair, sexy, outgoing... but that's enough about Dr Kennedy, this section's about me. I don't want to blow my own trumpet (or tuba in my case) so i'll stick to the facts.
I first arrived in Ramsay Street in June 1988 after running into Madge Mitchell. We used to go out together when we were at school. Actually, she used to date both Lou and I, which was quite a bother!
Meeting Madge again was just splendid. It felt as though the years had just melted away and we were teenagers once more. This resemblance became eerily truthful when Lou also reappeared to vie for Madge's attention. But, this time I won Madge's heart and we married in 1989.
Things ran smoothly until Madge and I went on holiday in 1992 and I was washed away at sea. Everyone presumed I was dead, but really, I was suffering from amnesia and had absolutely no idea who I was - come to think of it I can't quite recollect who I thought I was before I remembered that I was me again - oh well.
It wasn't until I joined the Salvation Army and Helen Daniels spotted me, that my true identity was discovered. I am so grateful to have been reunited with Madge for those final years before she was taken by cancer in 2001.
I have two children of my own from a previous marriage; David, a real chip off the old block (lucky guy) and Kerry, who was killed by duck shooters. Still God has his reasons and she did give me my lovely granddaughter Sky. And then of course there's Serena. Lovely girls they are.
Having a stroke was a strange experience. I was only in hospital a short time, and when I came out the entire street had suddenly become incredibly over-sensitive. Take Susan for instance, all I did was tell her to brush her hair and smarten herself up and the woman was practically in tears the silly woman!
I was also very found of both Rosie Hoyland and Ruby Dwyer. Rosie unfortunately was very fond of lou carpenter so things didnt work out. Ruby, things turned that much worse also when I found that she organised to have my house robbed to fund her gambling habit.
Well thats enough about me, I would like to learn more about all you lovely ladies out there. There could be a spot for mrs bishop number 3 if your that lucky lady. Just try not to be tempted by the false charms of one lou carpenter.
Come round for my world famous bran muffins anytime, my door at number 24 Ramsey street is always open.
