About Me
SNAKEBITE PRODUCTIONS was created on the 30th December 2000 by Ash and Fab, from the band OUROBOROS, as a mean to get their auto-produced mini CD available a bit everywhere (it was released min mid-2002). Soon, it appeared that there were no structures in southern France to help the Death Metal bands : Criminal records (Cannes) was dead and Warpath Records (Toulouse) were concentrating on their shop (now dead also). Many southern french bands used to be legendary in the begining of the 90's (Catacomb, Mutilated, Agressor, ...) but a lot splitted up because of the lack of support and structures to play. Thus SNAKEBITE was born, with the goal to support the Death Metal scene, especially in southern France. We're a small label which concentrates on quality rather than quantity : we prefer to release just one band each year with a GREAT album than a 1000 with shitty stuff.
We have five releases so far, from the four bands signed on the label :

5/BLOODSHED "March Of The Undead" 1st full-length from the zombies from Béziers, still in the Macabre Death vein

IMPUREZA (Flamenco brutal death from Orleans) sign with SNAKEBITE Productions to release their debut full lenght album called "La Iglesia Del Odio" expected for summer 2008.
The release has been recorded at Studio Plus 9 by Stephane Buriez (member from "Loudblast"). The mastering will be done at Imperial Mastering by Colin Davis (member from "Vile"). Johann Bodin will release the artwork.
