MySpace Layouts"Like the most unexpected kiss, the music made me whole. Inspiration begets inspiration. From the music of the producers, the sways of the dancers, I felt whole again. Like air to breathe, we cling to music as our saving grace. We all want to be somebody. The music that we make and the feelings it stirs.there is no greater feeling in the world. Our objective is to spread that love as far as we can, one person at a time. Its already happening."Whether mixing it up on the gritty underground circuit or taking it over the top as only he can, Berlins multi-talented Electro Negreaux has now descended onto the scene to blur the lines of all that is traditional and leave his indelible, and ultimately unforgettable impression. With press coverage in Afritopic Magazine as one of Berlins burgeoning new artists to watch out for and appearances in the most unusual of places, Triston has solidified his status on the scene as a performer unafraid to go beyond what is conventional, re-defining the sound and scope of the current musical landscape.Classically trained, he has covered nearly every genre from arias to reggae to gospel to rock, leading to a sound he terms 'soul fusion'.This experience moving crowds in clubs shines on Triston's second solo effort, Believe in Music, on Low Sky Records. Produced by Düsseldorf-based producer DJ Digolo, Believe in Music butters Triston's lush soul vocals over Digolo's electric-house beats. Triston's delivery and lyrics on the new album are peppered with elements of house, R&B, rock, and hip-hop but with themes of revenge, survival, lust, and heartbreak he turns electro into soul.Always on the seach for another musical challenge, Triston moved from Spain to Germany in the fall of 2003 to experiment with house and electro. Shortly after meeting DJ Digolo in Düsseldorf, the two began a whirlwind of collaborations which culminated in their first album together, Soul House Sessions and the launch of their joint venture together, Low Sky Entertainment. Soul House Sessions traces Triston's musical roots through house and hip-hop to end up with light jazz intonations. Soul House Sessions exploded with live performances around west Germany. Following quickly on the heels of the success of Soul House Sessions, the two artists recorded Believe in Music in April 2004.Whats next?"I am always on the search to collaborate with other artists. Sharing your art is also sharing who you are as a person, which is a test in and of itself. Although always a bit daunting, it can also be an intensely rewarding experience."Triston also makes his formal debut as a writer of a series short stories chronicling his life/love/relationships living in Berlin. Is it 2007 yet? Well, no one told me!2007 is just around the corner and to get a jump-start on the chaos that is bound to ensue, the I.A.C. has decided to have a little shindig in Berlin and then take it Europe-wide. Have you been bad, naughty, paroled? This is the fuckin' place for you. We're coming to your city. Bring your shank, because we're damn sure gonna have ours. And two stripper poles too. And what?!"Music is the canvas and we are the painters, music is the Bible and we are the apostles. The music saved my soul. We believe it can save yours too. Let us in. Lets get down. Be somebody. "There is no artistic divide that wont soon be crossed. Brace yourself.Come visit my store on CafePress!
