Influences: highly susceptible to influence...melissa: between her professional blues singer mother and her music-loving father, she's been singing since she was a baby.really. raised on old 'holler' style working blues, motown, and rock-n-roll, mel was privvy to the inside of many saloons, soundchecks and rehearsals as early as 4 and 5 years old...watching. listening.jane hails from cleveland. influenced by free-form radio and her guitar-playing sister, jane started developing her own guitar style at the age of 10. "everything about music influenced me. my mom would always have the radio on in the morning when she fixed breakfast for us, and it was peggy lee and eddie fisher - stuff like that." later, it would become joni mitchell, adrien belew (king crimson) and zeppelin helping to mold her unique, strong style.
