I thank GOD for being all that He is to me. Without Him I am nothing and I never want to forget that. See there was a point in time when I was resentful and angry because of things that had occurred in my past, but I can now rejoice over all the heartache and sadness that I have experienced because I know that the Lord was working a testimony in me. Not only that, but living W/OUT HIM taught me how to appreciate living FOR HIM!!! My GOD is just soooo awesome. He is my healer, my protector, my provider, my corrector. He is my everything. I never have to worry about His love for me. No one can ever love me as unconditionally as He can. He loved me when I was in my mess and didn't know how to love my self let alone Him. He is my only constant, He is never changing and totally worthy of my everything. OOOUUUUUUU....I LOVE HIM....lolAs for the other stuff, I am a senior at Kansas State University Majoring in Family Studies and Human Service w/a double major in American Ethnic Studies. I'm hoping to be out of here by August. It pains me every time that date moves back...lol. After undergrad I am considering obtaining my master's and/or doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, or going into something dealing w/inner city youth. I haven't made up my mind yet. I am a proud member and founder of Beta Sigma Chi Christian Sorority Inc. Don't let the sorority on the end fool you, it's a ministry not just a social group...lol. Other than that, I just like to chill w /my fam. and friends and have a good time laughing.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

God and hear him say, "Well done good and faithful servant." That's real talk!!! The man that God is preparing to be the head of my house hold. The one who is to love me as Christ loves the church. The rib cage that I am to return to...lol

Music:

I like a variety of different music but holy hip hop, gospel/Christian rap and gospel music for the most part. If you catch me in the right mood I might listen to a little classical or jazz. I'm also really feeling Robin Thicke right now. You have to admit that the man is talented.

Movies:

My two favorite movies of all time are A Bronx Tale and The Shawshank Redemption. These are two really great movies that I could NEVER get tired of watching...lol. "Mommy Dearest"is the second runner up. That chick was straight psycho. Ooooouuuu...she was so wrong for that liver...lol. I also really enjoy horror movies even though I'm probably the scariest person there is when it comes to stuff like that. A good comedy every once in awhile is also great.

Television:

I'll pretty much watch anything on Discovery Health especially Trauma Life in the ER and other real life medical dramas. Anything dealing with real life medicine I'll watch. I also like to watch The First 48 and Intervention on A&E. I would have gone into medicine if the schooling wasn't so long and I could handle seeing that stuff everyday. CSI Las Vegas and Law and Order: SVU and Criminal Intent are three of the best shows on television right now!!!! I was sleeping on the 4400 until recently but I watched the first season on dvd...yeah that show now has a new fan...lol

Books:

I'll pretty much read anything that can hold my attention from the jump. The latest one is "Lady in Waiting," I recommend this book to any single Christian female. It may change your whole outlook on being single:)

Heroes:

Jesus Christ because he saved me from a life of damnation. Real Talk...lol
