I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My name is Raul (Like the Real Madrid / Spain player and well, I think the main thing is the fact that I might very well be the ONLY Cuban-American in Birmingham! That alone should make you think what in the world are you doing in Birmingham? I ask myself that almost every day...It's quite complicated. A Brummie girl drove me to move to the Second City from California...Love is crazy, ain't it! Anyhow, background...I was born in Miami, Florida and have lived all over the United States. My parents are from Cuba and came to the United States back in the 1960s. Ethnically I am all over the map: Cuban, Spanish, French, and Italian; quite a mix I think, but it makes me extremely unique. You'll learn more about me as you keep reading.

It's Still California Love

The biggest thing! As of August 18th, 2006 at 2:55AM I am the Papa of Genevieve Adeline aka Jelly Bean.

My Interests

First and foremost: Freedom in Cuba.

Advertising art direction and copywriting, graphic design and web design, long-distance running (planning on running London 2007), travelling around Europe (planning a holiday to Ireland), watching and going to football matches (Come on you Baggies!), and of course making fun of people regardless of political correctness or moral correctness.
