Born Eric Vaughn Green Jr., EVG, was raised in the streets of Dallas, Texas. EVG is a person of humble beginnings, “I can remember eatin Cheerio's for breakfast, lunch and dinner... Sittin in the house with no lights, no water, times were rough" (EVG) As a child, Eric was forced around from school to school, house to house, hood to hood, his parents lack of financial stability caused them to be very nomadic. Due to this, EVG is well known around town. Though he dedicated his life to his education, he always had a love for music and singing in general. Coming up around all the "OG's" in the hood he became known as a street prodigy. He watched and learned the ins and outs of hustlin from his father, Eric Green Sr. Eric Sr. or "Eck" was a gifted painter/ drawer and not to mention a skilled vocalist. If any questions ever arise as to where EVG gets his talent, he will tell you plain, “A chip of the block they say I’m just like my POP once I get riled up so hard for me to stop"(EVG).
