About Me
Formed in the summer of 2006, Radio Adelaide (formerly Dressed In Sunday’s Best) is an energetic band hailing from Windsor, Ontario. In a city where generic hardcore bands come a dime a dozen, the boys of Radio Adelaide strive to create their own niche and constantly push the envelope. Incorporating styles of rock, punk, pop, and even some metal, Radio Adelaide possess a unique sound that has something for everyone.
In October 2006, the boys went into Beach Road Studios with producer Siegfried Meier (Holly McNarland, Jersey, The Salads, Awake and Dreaming, Seconds To Go) and recorded a 5-song EP. Four songs from the EP were posted on their MySpace, and within a matter of weeks they got an overwhelming positive response from hundreds of new fans. The guys have played many shows thus far; sharing the stage with bands including Boys Night Out, Bleed the Dream, Bless the Fall, Sydney, Ten Second Epic, Ligeia, Everlea, Chasing Mercury and countless others.
Their debut EP entitled "...and we're not finished yet" will make you want to dance, smile, reflect, climb trees, do back-flips, and eat dinner. And these guys really aren’t finished yet; with minor line-up changes and conflicts in the past, Radio Adelaide is set to go into the studio in May 2008 to record their debut full length, and release it in summer 2008.
Keep your eyes, ears, and bananas peeled for Radio Adelaide.
