The Tree Streets

About Me

From a crawl to a sprint The Tree Streets want the world and they want it now. After recording their debut self-titled EP in 2007, Dave, Frase and Colin have been relentlessly performing to audiences in southwestern Ontario and eastern Michigan. Whether it be 10,000+ festival crowds, or in small intimate clubs, The Tree Streets bring the same energy night in and night out, pouring their souls into their music. In early 2009 The Tree Streets released their long awaited LP “Right to Stand”; and now, with instruments in hand, the band is ready to hit the road and spread the love. If you’re a fan of unadulterated below-the-belt blues rock, with catchy guitar riffs, and vocal hooks, clear your calendars when The Tree Streets come to your town.

"tuneful, very bluesy garage rock with lots of '90s feel. The strength of it rests on the charismatic singing and songwriting of frontman/ bassist Dave Russell. He's equally comfortable belting over a slow bar beat, getting playful on a Spin Doctors-esque groove, or taking a melancholy tone on a pensive two-chord acoustic number"
- Dalson Chen (The Windsor Star)

"Their songs are catchy and soulful, an electic variation of bluesy rock that engages the listener and keeps them coming back for more"
-Carly Moulton (The Lance)

"If you enjoy pure below the belt, rockin' blues and catchy riffs, this is where you want to be"
- Randi Irving (DJ on CJAM and Writer for WAMM Magazine)

"The Tree Streets are good. They're tight. They have the chops to go the distance"
-Rachel Rain Packota (www.lucidforge.com)
