I'm pretty open, I think, about who I'd like to meet. I'm always up for good conversations and especially ones with people who make me laugh and think.
I've been into Cat Stevens forever. He's a classic (right Tara) and brings back lots of great memories from growing up in New Hampshire. Even though Adam Duritz annoys the bleep out of me, I sorta like the Counting Crows, although my interest in them has faded immensely. I like Madeleine Peyroux , Ray LaMontagne, The Saw Doctors (an Irish rock back) U2- by far the best live performance I've ever seen in my life, and some newish stuff I'm listening to include Snow Patrol, The Postal Service, Rufus Wainright and Amos Lee. I'll listen to almost anything once.
Okay, my interests range from Annie (seriously) to Simon Birch (whatever, did you see it?) to Amelie. I really like Sliding Doors and Blue Crush (a surf movie I could actually watch with Steve!)
I'm not afraid to admit that I am addicted to Grey's Anatomy. I really am. But other than that, these days I'm watching Studio 60 (surprisingly good) and testing out some other shows that are on TV. I try and avoid reality shows (I had to when my cousin Brian was on Survivor!) and most TV in general. One of my favorite all-time TV shows is Arrested Development. The fact that it's still not on the air speaks more about the crap that is on there. But...I highly recommend it!
Bridges of Madison County (so much better than the movie). Molly Moves Out (the best kids book out there!). Million Little Pieces- I know it turned out to be a million little lies, but it was still powerful and made a huge impact on me.
Anyone who takes risks.
