About Me

Mush Mouth, born Aaron Donahoo, was born in Mentor, Ohio. He has been into music since he was young. He has dabbled in several different genres as well. His first big band was The Gaping A's, where he served as the lead vocalist. His love of hip-hop and rock made him a unique talent. Mush picked up the bass a few years later. He later would play in various bands, then settled in One Day We Die as the bassist and co-vocalist. After they disbanded, Mush joined Johnny La Rock in a project that combined hip-hop, electronic music, and experimental grooves. These days the project has morphed into a full blown hip-hop act. He rocks the rhymes and throws down bass lines in the studio. They go under the name of, well, Johnny La Rock & Mush Mouth. Clever, huh? They've gotten great reviews in mags like Alternative Press, Scene, Free Times, and Punk Planet. They also earned a spot on the 2007 Van's Warped Tour! Mush also helps run their record label, La Rock Inc. Records , where they hope to spotlight hip-hop from another perspective.

The entire gamin indistry along with various classical works (including Fantasia:) The seven principles of the way of Bushi, Az, my mother's piano playing and my grandmother's gospel voice, Yo MTV raps (hopefully everone remembers that show), Sanada Yukimaru, Musashi Mayamoto, Mariachi music, Tosca, Old school gangsta rap ( oh yah I said it), the Wu tang clan (speaking words of wisdom to a child growing up standing between the sword and the ball), The Rza's new book, Looney Toons.
