I'm a girl with varied interests. I like anything to do with books, political science, fairytales, anne rice, gothic fantasy, magic realism, dead baby jokes, dr. seuss anything ,"tolkienology", computer games, science fiction (but not Star Trek), the magical land of xanth (I'm a Piers Anthony fan!), erotica, japan, feminism, Ateneo, literature, V.C. andrews, witchcraft, astrology, the occult, running, crocheting, sewing and CLOTHES! I also love WORDGAMES-- scrabble, twister, boggle--you name it, i play it!
What don't I like? Talking about cars, guitars and military strategies makes me a tad suicidal... so lets not go there. I also don't like posers, culture vultures, ghetto wannabes, art sharks-- you know the type. So there. That's me in a nutshell.
I have simple tastes in music. Just give me anything folk, indie, country and punk if you want me happy. If it's not on NU107 I probably wouldn't like it. Pop makes me gag. Mention the words r&b if you want to induce seizures. I'm not trying to be offenisve or anything, it's just that P. Diddy and his "ilk" are pathetic.
The Piano, Death to Smoochy, The Last Unicorn, Coyote Ugly, The Night Before Christmas, Lilo & Stitch and stuff by Quark Henares! Keka was really good.
That 70's Show, That's So Raven, Adult Swim, The Simpsons, Ren & Stimpy, Extreme Ghostbusters, Sex and the City, Single, anything on ftv! * * * *
The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter, Smoke and Mirrors by Neil Gaiman, tThe Sleeping Beauty trilogy, Belinda and Exit to Eden by Anne Rice, Delta of Venus by Anaïs Nin, Right of Woman by Mary Stonewollcraft, Wuthering Heights by Charlotte Bronte, Zombie Lover and other Xanth books by Piers Anthony, The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle, Fanny Hill by John Cleland, The Adventures of Fanny Hackabout-jones by Erica Jong, and finally Dark Angel by V.C. andrews. I also enjoy short story anthologies that tackle stories situated in the Philippines like Kwentong Siyudad, Ladlad 1 & 2, Tibok, and Typical Girls. I live for fairy tales, especially those written by Angela carter, Oscar Wilde and the Brothers Grimm. As for comic books, i am a die-hard fan of Roman Dirge's Lenore.
Jewel Kilcher. She gives 60% of earnings to charity. No other artist has done that. FYI, the background music you hear is "Foolish Games"-- it is written, composed and sung by Jewel.
