Plague of Corruption

Back with a vengeance...

About Me

Former band member Entropicvamp of Dark Symphony (Guitarist) and Penetralia (Bassist) left both bands due to musical differences. On July 4, 2006 Entropicvamp decided to form his own band Twilights Masquerade, who was then later joined by Dameon Xavier (Bassist) and Requiem Eternum (Keyboards). After the band formed and began their musical career, they released their first single “Death March.” Shortly after the release of “Death March” their bassist decided it was time to make some changes within the band. With tension inside the band, Dameon Xavier asked his long time friend and band member Requiem Eternum to be removed from the band, shortly there after Entropicvamp had a falling out with his bassist and then time friend Dameon Xavier. After the band split up Entropicvamp then tried to reform Twilights Masquerade with a fresh new starting line up, with Entropicvamp still as the guitarist, Jay “Morbid” Smith former Neldöreth (Bassist) and Mark “Clown” Jonovitch former Twilights Masquerade (Keyboards). The new Twilights Masquerade had promise but found it quite difficult to find a lead vocalist, to no avail it was over for the new band and knowing that the band was not going to make it, Entropicvamp decided to go his own way and drop his stage name and went by his actual name Charles Sott. Now with a fresh start, Charles went and asked his long time friends Jay “Morbid” Smith former Neldöreth and Twilights Masquerade (Bassist), Mark “Clown” Jonovitch former Twilights Masquerade (Keyboards), Jason “Apoch” Weiss former Bleeding Perfection (Lead vocals) and then later Bryan Anderson (Drums) to start up a new band, seeking a new direction in the music industry, they took the former (Gothic Metal Band) Twilights Masquerade and formed Plague of Corruption (Melodic Death Metal Band). Currently, Jason "Apoch" Weiss left Plague of Corruption to start his own band, and in the process Plague of Corruption acquired long time friend Kenny Miller, who joined as their new vocalist and guitarist. In addition they acquired another vocalist, Cassandra, who is a close friend of the band. Currently Plague of Corruption is working on their first CD, along with a new much heavier remake of the former Twilights Masquerade “Death March” song.
