Alex Parks
To keep it simple: Alex Parks is a singer-songwriter from Cornwall in the UK. She's 22, released her second album entitled 'Honesty' in October 2005, and is part of the new school of emotionally direct female songwriters.

Alex Parks first came to our attention during the 2003 series of the BBC TV series 'Fame Academy', week by week we followed her progress and were amazed by her talent.

As the BBC said of Alex... If contemporary pop has a way of filtering out unique, unconventional singers, leaving a glut of highly driven but not particularly engaging types at the forefront, Alex Parks is a much needed, brilliantly against the grain anomaly.
An artist this real makes it out of her bedroom and into the mass spotlight one time in ten thousand.
