James Shylok

dj Shylok, AKA James Peterman, started his drum & bass obsession in early 2000 citing Ray Keith's "Classifieds" LP as his lure. With a background in drums and percussion it was only a matter of time before the jungle sound was embraced by him. James has been a staple in Portland, DJing clubs for 5 years while dabbling in promotion and booking as well. Although DJing hasn't been a dead end for him (DJing alongside Friction, R.A.W., Fresh, Juju, LTJ Bukem & Mokoto, Red One, Gridlock, Dara, Psidream, Spirit, Aphrodite & Dieselboy), James is convinced he needs to continue knuckling down with production in pursuit of record releases and a G.O.T. label...
