The name Cory Sparks is synonymous with successful marketing and promotional strategies.
After establishing SIT Marketing in the Fall 1999 during his last year of graduate study, Sparks launched one of the Mid-South's most elite promotional companies. SIT Marketing is a full service promotional company that specializes in bridging the gap between an artist and the consumer. SIT Marketing consistently delivers the absolute complete package in regards to
street promotions. The company's focus is grassroots urban marketing/promotional campaigns, mixshow radio airplay, street promotion and special events. SIT Marketing has an endless list of satisfied clients. Many record labels and companies, both minor and major, utilize SIT Marketing street campaigns. Some of those clients include: Def Jam, Interscope Records, Atlantic Records, Virgin Records, Sony Urban, Koch, TVT Records, All State Insurance, Asylum, New Line Cinemas, Everglo, Walgreen's, Martell VSOP and countless independent companies.
Cory Sparks is also co-founder of The National DJ Alliance Record & CD Pool, which is one of the Mid-South's largest collaborations of professional music industry executives and DJ's. Members submit feedback, release dates, tour information and overall area response for consideration on the projects of new and veteran artists in monthly record pool meetings. The purpose of these record pool meetings is to dominate the local market and to introduce records to influential members of the music scene. The National DJ Alliance Record & CD Pool was created by Cory Sparks and Jesse "DJ Infamous" Johnson in 2003 as a result of the need for new music in Nashville and surrounding areas. Currently, The NDA Record & CD Pool has over 40 members in 5 markets, spanning 3 states.
The third and most recent venture in the repertoire of Cory Sparks is Titan Clientele Marketing
Services, otherwise known as TCMS. Sparks along with TVT Records Radio Regional Manager, Ricardo Hunter, saw the need for a southern based company to assist in the marketing and promotion of independent southern artists. At TCMS, independent labels can get national street teams, truck wraps, mixshow airplay and records promoted to radio stations just as a national artist would. TCMS monitors BDS and Mediabase spins, while ensuring strong street, retail and lifestyle presence in any market desired. TCMS has a long list of local, regional and national clients.
