I am here for Friends

About Me

I am a classic underachiever who is currently dossing his way through his 2nd year at Leeds Met Carnegie. I could always do better apparently, but if I'm OK now then why try harder, eh? I love sport. Rugby League is the greatest game on Earth and for anyone to play that game for 80 minutes at the top level truely is a top athlete.Got a fairly big family. 3 older brothers, 1 younger sister, yet I have no nephews or nieces yet, even though 2 have been in a relationship for 7+ years! (Not that I'm complaining!).Have a beautiful girlfriend called Sammi who I've been with for over a year now (I know, a year! People said I couldn't hold a relationship for 3 weeks! Screw you! haha). She has now joined me at Carnegie so I don't have to keep coming home every weekend to see her!I used to be a student at Bradford University (until I dropped out in January!). The Uni was shit. The city was shit. Most of its citizens were crazy drivers. And I also decided the course wasn't for me anyways so that's all that counts! Met some great people. The RL team are the best lads in the world (that doesn't mean my Hull mates aren't. They're just as good, if not better). I'm glad I went to Uni. It was a valuable life experience to say the least, but I'm VERY glad I left! I was originally doing Computer Animation with Special Effects, and it comes as no suprise to the people that know me that I've changed it! "What was you thinking?!" came from most! Well, I then changed to Sports Technology (or Medical Technology in Sport as it's now called. They keep changing the name!). It was much better (and sounds more like something I'd do, too!), but still, I decided that I'd prefer to go into a more practical sports career, so now I'm at Leeds Met doing my PE degree.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Well, my old hero used to be Andy Farrell, the Great Britain Rugby League captain. I say he was my old hero because he sold his soul and left the sport for "a new challenge". Newsflash, Andy: you seek a new challenge when you've ran outta old ones. You've never guided GB to an international series victory; surely that's a big enough challenge, you pan-faced git?! Anyways, I've met him before and he wasn't the most pleasant of people. Wouldn't even stop for a photo. Find it rather funny how it took him 18 months to get over his injuries and play his first game for Rugby Yawnion and now they complain because he "isn't good enough." Intelligent are the "over-educated" scumbags from that sport!I used to also really wanna meet Andrew Johns, the "best player in the world", until he signed for Warrington at the end of last year! I saw him play Hull FC twice (out of the 3 matches he played for Warrington!), and he got outplayed by a 5'6" rookie who was playing in National League 2 the year before (and is currently playing National League 1 with Castleford 'cos he wasn't good enough for Hull!). Nice one, Andrew!Generally speaking, I'd like to meet anyone who can keep a conversation going for at least the first 15 minutes I meet them, because that's about how long it takes for me to think of something to say to people! I'm terrible at starting convos with people I don't know, but good at keeping them going when I do know them.

Dropping out of Uni

That's it. I've had it with Uni. Bradford as a city is a dump. The Uni is crap. The social seen is poor. My course seems pointless. And the staff just don't seem to care (apart from one guy who I feel...
