Music...the one I can always turn to....

About Me

DJ Earwaxxx Born and raised in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley, DJ Earwaxxx has been surrounded by music his entire life. The grandson of a touring Jazz pianist, son of piano playing father, and brother of a drummer, DJ Earwaxxx was destined to be a beast in the DJ world. Charleston Perez, DJ Earwaxxx, began experimenting with vinyl and turntables back in 1993. It was then and there he began his DJing career. Some of his early inspirations, while learning the fundamentals of DJing, were the radio jock’s of Power 106 FM in Southern California. It was then he would catch the audible greatness of the likes such as The Baka Boyz (Power 106 Los Angeles) , DJ E-Man (Power 106 Los Angeles) , Icy Ice (The Beat LA 92.3, The World Famous Beat Junkies) , Melo-D (KDAY, The World Famous Beat Junkies) and DJ Enrie (Power 106). Now in 2007, Earwaxxx is taking on the DJ world at full speed. Now affiliated with the infamous Jimi Handtrix Experience (formed in 2004) which includes members: Havik (of The World Famous Beat Junkies), Presto One (of The World famous Rock Steady Crew),Verz, Charlie Darker, Daeta, Phunkmaster P.H.I.L., D.J. P (Mash up Style innovator), Red Eye, Silent John, Deuce Ace and Fuse One. Earwaxxx has opened for headline acts such as Common, DJ Qbert (Invisibl Skratch Piklz) , D-Styles (Invisibl Skratch Piklz, The World Famous Beat Junkies) , Tash of The Alkaholiks, Planet Asia, and The Native Guns. Fans can catch him spinning at various venues from Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. When he isn’t performing at clubs on the West Coast, you can hear him every Monday night on WWW.LIVEMIXSHOW.COM from 8pm to 11pm (pst) to hear his unique style of musical compositions live on the turntables. By incorporating flawless blends, impecable scratches and intricate trick mixing, Earwaxxx will not leave any doubts in the listeners ears that he is in fact the future of DJing. ..
