Hey guys! Thanks for stopping by. I feel kinda funny filling out my own bio...but, I know more about myself than anyone I trust to fill this out so, here it goes! I'm originally from Cape Canaveral, Florida but I was raised the majority of my life in Biloxi, Mississippi. I'm 23 years old and still growing spiritually with a heart to share God's love through music. I started singing when I was about 6 but, I was always too shy to sing in front of anyone.
My aunt led praise and worship at our church in Biloxi for many years and when I was 14, I decided it was time to get on stage! I sang on the praise and worship team until I was 18 but, began writing my own music at 15. I started playing piano at around that time and guitar at 17. I wouldn't even consider myself "excellent" at either instrument but, I'm working on it! God gave me the gift of music and I know He gave it to me to help take me to a place outside of current circumstances at the time. I learned piano and guitar in one day and was able to write songs using both in one week! GOD IS AWESOME!
I give God the credit for everything I have, and my life is a testimony of his grace and mercy. We all have a story, I just tell mine through song. I try to write music, not just that I can relate to, but that everyone can relate to. Instead of only taking my circumstances and writing a tune, I'm inspired by family, friends, tragedy and testimony that bring me to a level of understanding....and, I hope that my music will make sense of it all.
I'm working on getting my OWN music together so I can share it with you! And, hopefully it will be a blessing. Until then, keep smiling! There's a reason to....and, He's with you always!
