If you're reading this, boy did you take a wrong turn.
My name's Ben. I'm a musician. I hail from Royal Oak, Michigan, where I grew up. I joined the Army in 1998 and did four years as a radio/intelligence (yeah, yeah, joke all you want) and cryptographic technician, after which I moved to Grand Rapids.
I've been involved in music since the sixth grade, singing in choir and playing various instruments throughout high school. In the mid-90s, I got into composition on my computer, using tools like FastTracker and Impulse, then more advanced stuff like buzz and Reason. Recently I've been doing more on the back end, working with computers and sound equipment to get a feel for the engineering side and cleaning up my compositions to make them radio-worthy. I hope to build my own recording studio someday and lay down professional tracks, as well as find new talent and bring big artists back to the Motor City.
Check my journal for music updates.
