Q-DA-MAN

D.M.I Breon Hicks, a.k.a Q-Da-Man, born in Rockford, Illinois where he lived for 14 years before moving to Palm Beach, Florida. He then started exploring rapping. At the age of 18, 1999, is when he realized maybe he has the skills to take him to the next level. Him and two of his homeboys formed a group called S.P. They put out two underground tracks, This for the World and We coming. They also did live shows in South Florida. Due to some issues the boys called it quits, but still remained close friends with each other. There was no bad break up just a decision made. Q-Da-Man then went to start a solo career. Where he only recorded three tracks due to minor set backs. And stopped doing music for a while before an old friend was interested in helping him. The situation didnt work out and they parted ways. After that Q-Da-Man figured he start doing things his way and formed his own music family (2003) called D.M.I. Which consisted of five members. To this day D.M.I has more members and is flooding the underground seen in South Florida. Q-Da-Man is currently working on his first album which should drop soon with many camp members to follow. D.M.I is currently unsigned.
