Ras Sheehama was born in 1966 in the northern region of Namibia. Currently in Namibia and Southern Africa Ras Sheehama is the one of most important and most popular musician of the Southern Africa countries. Since 1990 he released several vinyls and cassettes which are only available in Namibia and South Africa. Ras has performed in Germany, UK, Cuba, Portugal, Switzerland - the Montreux Jazz Festival Under the Sky 2005 and the Fêtes de Geneva 2005. He also opened for the legendary reggae act Don Carlos in Johannesburg in 2001 and for Manu Di Bango in 1995 in Windhoek.
