Who am I?................You know me. I am like so many before me, like Harriet Tubman, trying to lead our people to freedom.You know me. Like Angela Davis, fighting the good fight, fighting for freedom, fighting for freedom from black struggle, but yet I'm still as fragile as a flower.You know me. I am like modern day professors, an activist, an advocate for the people. Like Sonya Sanchez, teaching and motivating with words, offering testimonies of overcoming struggle. "I could not have done it without GOD!!!"I know you. You are like so many before you. You are like Frederick Douglass, so eloquently spoken, commanding respect even among the elite. Yet you are humble.I know you. Like one of the most regal pharaohs of Africa, like Thutmose III of Egypt, leading your people.I know you. You are like Martin Luther King, a spiritual motivator, a caretaker of children, talking about GOD and having a dream. Like Ben Carson, wanting to help through healing with your innovative thinking.I know you. Like Willie Jolley or Tavis Smiley, inspiring through motivating talks.I know you. I want to grab you by the hand and show you my dreams. Come go with me. Share with me all your aspirations.You know me. Our skin binds us automatically. I know you.
