About Me

PLEASE DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU NEED TO. DO NOT ASK FOR APPROVAL AS A FRIEND UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE. MY PROFILE IS SERIOUS. I USE MY SPACE TO STAY IN TOUCH WITH FRIENDS & FAMILY. AM BORED SHITLESS OF STUPID MESSAGES. GET A LIFE, I'M FAR TOO BUSY LOOKING AFTER THOSE IN THE WORLD THAT ARE LESS FORTUNATE, THOSE THAT WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE MY SPACE CORRECTLY. Born and bred outside Hull City Centre. Didn't have a clue what i wanted to do till i'd left school (apart from party!). Am now a trained nurse in learning Disabilities currently working with adults with challenginf behaviour so get the odd punch thrown at me for a living!!! Would like to eventually specialise in Autism. In a relationship, although new it's going perfect!! and have definately met my match. Fun and friendly! Little bit off side at times but only on the top, have actually got my head screwed on very tightly. 5ft7, slim, often get called Kate Moss look-a-like, which i don't like as she is my idol. It really annoys me, especially as i don't personally think i do! Would quite like to do a bit of modelling though but think i've left it far too late!!

My Interests

Friends! I have more than enough and am very lucky. Spending time with Skin has to be my best interest, especially as we are into the same kinda stuff and have had some of the best nights out with him!!! Work, i just love my job so much, even when it's tough or i get a black eye from 1 of the patients!! Gym, just getting back into it after almost a year out. It's very difficult with working shifts & seriously busy social life!! Am finding it a lot easier when i'm there since i bought myself an i pod. All gym users must have 1! Going to gigs, mainly local but do go out of town maybe once a month. Fashion, but don't follow what's up to date unless i like it.

I'd like to meet:

I have all the people i need right now. Noone should wish to meet anyone when they have true friends. First you must learn who your true friends are!!

Music:

Indie/Rock/Reggae but to be fair at times i listen to such a variety. I was brought up with Rock n Roll then Soul. Quite like a bit of funk and can occassionaly handle drum and bass, especially noe it's crossing with the 'band thing' at the moment. Belle & Sebastion, Libertines, Babyshambles (shame Libertines split but love babyshambles & recently saw Dirty Pretty Things who were excellent), The Strokes, White Stripes, Raconteurs (Jack White Rocks, he works his arse off on stage), Paddingtons, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers of course,i could go on forever. Bob Dylan, The Doors, Bob Marley (i dreamt about meeting him when i was a kid!), Deep Forest, Sade, oh this is so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh i had a huge phase in the dance/garage scene. Don't listen too it ever now apart from the occassional Head Kandi CD. My dance days began at the Hacienda with Graeme Park and Tom Wainwright!!! Currently my favourite band is GST Cardinals, local lads and very good friends. Please visit their my space site, you will not be disappointed. Also Ernest, local lads once again. Don't quite know where i'd put them in the music industry but the talent is un-real! Their my space site is well worth a look at also.

Movies:

Leon, a true story abou love, love that neither of them had experienced and i strongly disagree with those who think it's sick. It is not about sex, it's about being cared for. True Romance, she takes such a kicking from that prick and still manages to do him over! Saw and Saw 2 is even better! Just found out they're making Saw 3!!! Pirates of the Carribean, prefer the second one. Johnny Depp is my favourite actor, not because i fancy him but beacause he chooses his characters so carefully. have you ever seen him just play a 'random'?

Television:

Turn it on about once a month!!!

Books:

I read a lot of work related stuff. If i like someone and they write their story i will read it. Gotta be careful with auto/biographies. Just got round to getting into Scar Tissue (nutters man!!). Currently reading Memoirs of a Geisha also. Favourite novellist is Martina Cole. But i do read other novels but they have to be gripping, none of this girlie romance shit!! Oh and of course every week without fail - NME!

Heroes:

My dad!! Oh and SKIN!!!!!
