The Randy Cliffs

Insurgent Rust Belt Trucker Rock with tears

About Me

The Randy Cliffs is the band that you left on the back porch next to the ten-dollar case of beer last weekend. This Madison foursome plays insurgent-country pabst punk rock in the tradition of such artists as Uncle Tupelo, Whiskeytown, Social Distortion, and The Replacements. The songs take a hold of the rural Midwest roots and cowpunk and beats and bends it into foot-stompers and heart-achers alike. The band brings dem lyrics to life with it's own unique brand of bar-time rock honesty. The Cliffs have played such clubs as the King Club, the Annex, Club Tavern, the Coral Room, Fred's Music Lounge, the VFW, teen dances and Luther's Blues, and they are always very well received at the world famous High Noon Saloon. The Cliffs have played with The Legendary Shack Shakers, The Bottle Rockets, Heartless Bastards, Sin City Injectors, The Kissers and many other great locals. The blistering amount of energy displayed during their live shows has led them to caravan a large following of "cliff dwellers", with the crowd always waiting to see what happens next. Catch them gettin "warmed up" in the parking lot before shows, look for the blue tourvan knock on the door and come on in.
