After a somewhat varied career in radio and television mostly as a Director of multi-camera music and sports productions, I have withdrawn from the world of make believe ( until someone comes along and offers me the gig of a lifetime) to spend my time writing, cooking - I bake the most delicious bread - and generally enjoying life in beautiful Nova Scotia.Maybe this will give you an idea of who/what/why I am.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who will take the time to try to get to know me. Aside from them I'd like to meet President Jimmy Carter. He may not have been the most effective leader in the States - but he appears to be the most principled.I'd also like to meet Dame Judi Dench one of the most versatile actors around.

Music:

The old time classic Country - Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty, Ferlan Husky, Hank Snow - anything by Mozart, Dr. John, Credence Clearwater Revival, Big Band Swing especially Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw, and Baroque music. ( I know --- quite an eclectic mix.)

Movies:

Any film my daughter has worked on especially, Pirates of the Caribbean-Dead Man's Chest, Sum of All Fears, The Score. As well as most of Film Noir.

Television:

Again eclectic. Most British Drama, Midsomer Murders, Morse, Foyle's War, The Frost Series, etc., Anything CSI, Law and Order ( in all its variants ) numb3rs, NCIS, Most PBS Mysteries, NFL Football, Turner Classic Movies.

Books:

The Inspector Frost Mysteries, Dick Francis Mysteries, East of Eden, Grapes of Wrath, A Narrative of the Civil War by Shebly Foote, Books by W.E.B. Griffin, Kathy Reichs
