I moved to Nashville 5 years ago from Elkhart, IN to pursue a career as an artist. Wow, I can’t believe it’s already been 5 years...Anyway, I have been singing on stage since I was 7 years old. I started out singing in churches with my parents and won a few talent shows. Through high school I was blessed to be able to play drums and sing in a band with my parents. I also sang in any and all high school choral events. I started writing songs my freshman year and by my junior year, I got to perform a song I had written for graduation. That was the first time a junior had ever performed and/or written a song for a senior commencement. I also wrote and performed a song for my own graduation. Music has been my passion since I can remember. I’ve never really wanted to do anything else. So instead of going to college, I worked for a year after high school and saved up enough money to move to Nashville. Since I’ve been here, I have made many awesome contacts and am starting to write with some great writers in town. I work in a state-of-the-art rehearsal facility to pay the bills (soundchecknashville.com). I’ve been backstage to too many concerts to count because of my job and virtually all of the contacts I’ve made have been through Soundcheck. I am married to my wonderful wife, Stefanie. We had a long distance relationship for 3 years until we got married, so you could say we’re both prepared for my life on the road. Any success I have is only a credit to Jesus Christ, my wife, and my family. I am currently playing guitar and singing backup for a new artist "Emma Mae Jacob." I also am one of two lead singers of an 80’s pop/rock cover band called "Double Take" and will be touring the country and playing casinos, corporate parties, and festivals after the first of the year. God Bless!!!
