Scot

Life is one big journey. I am packed and ready to go.

About Me

I am a goofball. I like to have a good time. I speak with a slow, Southern drawl. I'm one of the most easy going people you will ever meet. I am truthful and faithful to my friends and family. I am affectionate. I would love to spend a night talking with Albert Einstein, Julius Caesar, an ancient Greek, Plato, Martin Luther, Emperor Chin (the first Chinese ruler), Marco Polo, my ancestors that came to this country. I love to travel. In fact, I want to have a checklist at least two pages long at the end of my life, that details all of the places that I have traveled to.

My Interests

Interests include; TEXT messages (I'm addicted. I can "blow" a phone up with text messages), reading, music, pin-up girls and art, traveling, yard work, cooking, cold beer, wine, cocktail hour, cook outs with friends, running, drinking coffee, playing card and board games (especially poker, scrabble and monopoly), and the list can go on forever...

I'd like to meet:

People to explore the world with, Albert Einstein, the Buddha, Julius Caesar, anyone who can carry on an interesting conversation, a good cook (I like to eat), F. Scott Fitzgerald.....

Music:

I'll listen to just about anything. Presently, I am in to Band of Horses, Rogue Wave, and The Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" album. Such incredible lyrics. All time favs include The Sundays, The Cult, Depeche Mode, AC/DC, Duran Duran, Beastie Boys, Tony Bennett, and When In Rome's "the Promise".

Movies:

Star Wars, The Godfather Part 1, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, The Thai Warrior, The Secretary, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Lawrence of Arabia, The Bridge Over the River Kwai, Blazing Saddles.

Television:

I am not at home on a regular basis, so it is hard to get involved with a series. I like Robot Chicken, Dirty Jobs, Gardening by the Yard, Family Guy, How It Is Made, and Sunrise Earth. NFL on multiple screens during 241 is not bad either. Love, love, love, my new HD TV!

Books:

On my bed table at this moment, Ship of Fools (one of the most difficult books that I have read in a long time. Damn discussion group!), Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters by Salinger, the Complete Short Stories of F. Scott Fitzgerald, Complete Poems of Alfred Lord Tennyson, and Lonely Planet's Travel Guides to France and to Prague.

Heroes:

My parents, the Buddha, Einstein, any person that wanted to explore what this planet and its people have to offer and went for it.

"To have a friend, you have to be one" from a fortune cookie I received at a chinese restaurant in Vegas. I think that about sums up how life should be lived.

Nightime Spectacular
