DJ Blitz born and raised in Chicago got his start at the young age of 13. Attempting to duplicate what he heard on the radio from his favorite mixmasters never really worked the first few times. While in highschool in 1994 he began using the school AV lab to create mixtapes using reel to reel and alot of creativity. The years passed and his skill began to grow. He needed a new outlet for his passion but didn't really know where to begin. Making a couple connections in the business and landed him a job at a local teen nightclub not as a DJ but as a bouncer. This opened up a whole new world for Blitz. Although he really wanted to be on the decks at that time, he was still perfecting his sound and creating many new friends and connections in the industry. From there he began working with some of the best in the industry, landing spots at famous Chicago nightclubs such as Vision, Dragonfly, Elixur, The Living Room, Northbeach, Blu and too many more to name. He has even graced his presence in Florida nightclubs from time to time during spring breaks. A breaking moment for Blitz was when he got to spin next to the man that sparked the interest in music to begin with, Bobby D a local Chicago Mixmaster and nationally known artist. Now well over a decade later and many venues under his belt, Blitz is moving to the next level. Not only does Blitz spin everyone's favorite hit's, he also MC's venues and other spots. Blitz has been told many times before that his voice has been built for radio. Having guest mixed on Chicago Radio stations and various internet radio and mix shows Blitz has set his sights even higher by adding remixing and production to his resume.
