Chris Wallace and the CW Band

If we could live our Life's Journey, "As the Crow Flies" could we not cover more ground and accomplish more in our Life? "As the Crow Flies" is one of those songs you will find yourself singing and the next thing you're doing is thinking about your Life. Where you have been and where you are going.I was born and spent my early years in Tennessee and Mississippi, schooled in New York and can tell you it did not flush the "mam" or "sir" from rasin'.My 21st Birthday found me in Seattle at the "Auburn Opry", dinner theater with a great band. There was contest and since I always woke my folks up early on the weekends, singing in the shower or playing, singing and jamming with my Uncle; it took little little urging for me to sign up. I won!!WIth the encouragement of the great, country legend "Charlie Walker" and his wife/manager and the house band; it wasn't long till I had my own band. I played there and hundreds of other clubs across this great nation, back and forth from Nashville for studio/session work. A couple of years later, I found myself in another Music Mecca, Austin Texas. I find that the "creative juices" of my two homestates of Tennessee and Texas run like their deep rivers.With a Texas band, a truck and trailer and thousands of miles... opening acts, my own shows, the hand shakes, the smiles and the "ya'll come back to play for us", I continue the affirmation that " Country is Real, Traditional Country is Forever!!" I have never met a stranger and they know me by "Country or CW".I want to thank 98.5 KRXT, k106, Nixa Country, The Conn Man, and all other radio stations for the interviews and playing my music. This business is tough just like the rest but there are good people and friends amongst it that make it easier and I thank them for their friendship and support.I hope you enjoy the sound and style.
