About Me

I grew up in Winter Park, FL. I have been dancing nearly all of my life. I just recently moved to Jacksonville with my husband, Ian, who is stationed in Mayport aboard the USS Farragut. Ian and I got married on Aug 5, 2005 in Virginia Beach. We have a little English Bulldog puppy, her name is Dixie. I am slowly working my way through College at Jacksonville University. I am loving JU and all of my new dance friends! After working as the intern to the Youth Director at First United Methodist Church in Winter Park for nearly 3 years I deceided to try dancing again. I spent the past few years as a dance major at University South Florida and Valencia Community College. While I was in Orlando I perfected my starving artist skills by working at Tony Roma's as a Server/Bartender where I met some great people including my husband. I am still looking for oppurtunities to dance, choreograph, and/or teach while in Jacksonville and making a little extra money while working at the Cheesecake Factory. Meanwhile, Ian is in an out of port, but we are finding plenty of time for friends/family, traveling, being outdoors and surfing. I told myself that I would never start this whole Myspace thing but, I hope that it will make it easier to stay connected to friends and to get reconnected with old friends.

Music:

Pretty much everything from Country to Classical to Hip-Hop to Pop to Christian music. Basically if it comes from an instrument and I can understand what they are saying then it is music to me. Except I hate any singer who yells

Movies:

The dance classics...Dirty Dancing, Center Stage, Footloose. I also like good movies like anything directed by Christopher Guest..."Oh my God, Corky!", "O'brother where art Thou", "Coming to America", "Princess Bride", "Moulin Rouge" basically any movie that makes me laugh and/or cry. I hate scary movie!!!

Television:

I am a Jeopardy junkie! "So you think you can dance", American Idol, Gilmore Girls(its all your fault Kim)I have always love TV I can always find something to watch.

Books:

I hate to read. Blame it on the ADD
