Heroes:
My grandmother is my hero. She raised 6 of her own children and helped raise me. She always put her children first, and placed herself on the back burner. She was more like a mother to me and she taught me many things. The one thing I remember most is to never say "hate". She always said that it was strong word. She told me that it was okay to not like something or someone but never to hate something or someone. She passed away over 4 years ago. I find myself wanting to pick up the phone and call her, but then I remember that I can't do that. I hope that she knows that I think of her often and miss her greatly.
