Young Stratus has been getting it on and popping in the D.C. area for quite some time now. Starting as a youth before he even graduated High School hitting up all the most popular clubs in Washington D.C. How he got in is anybodies guess.
After a few run-ins with the law Stratus decided to turn his life long hobby of rapping into a serious and productive career.
Putting together a Hip-Hop Classic with "Kings Honors", the mixtape sold upwards of 3200 copies in just under three months.
Stratus has befriended and has been spotted shopping with Dipset's J.R. Writer in P.G. County's Iverson Mall. The two maintain a mutual respect for the music, and a working relationship.
Among other artists Stratus
has also befriended Tabi Bonney, a fellow D.C. Artist who has already experienced touring around the globe, and having a music video in heavy rotation on MTV. "I just study the game alot; I was fortunate enough to be able to watch Tabi's career takeoff, I only hope that I can groom myself to follow such a great example." - Young Stratus.
