Loud they were on stage as well as off. The stoic presence of metal guitarist Juha Tikka trying to keep classic-onlychild drummer Jyri Majalahti in check. While (I-Am-The) Lead Singer Toni Kafu Forsten enjoying for that precious spotlight time and at the same time in the backseat is bass player Mikko Ahonen. The one and only member of Grand Revolt with any kind of diplomatic skills. One happy dysfunctional family chasing their dream down that mythical highway to/from Hel(l)sinki.
Now, here they are. The Soulshaker EP is Grand Revolts recording debut, produced by Flaming Sideburns producer Jürgen Hendlmeier. You can hear echoes of Olde Rock & Roll Revolts (1969, 1977, 1992...) yet these 4 songs arent anywhere else but here & now & in your face. Loud, passionate and timeless.
