Create a Myspace LED ScrollerPaw Ray has been there done that but still treat every show and song like it was their first....balls out. Group members Black Sun and Bolo have released 10 albums and compilations through their career and are preparing for the Fall 2007 release of their next studio album "Rice and Grits".
The son of Filipino immigrants Bolo was raised in Vallejo, CA and has always known the mic was his calling. From MTV to number 1 tracks around the globe this MC has done and seen a lot in his career. Bolo has recently been the face of Verizon's Hip-Hop Ring Tones Ad Campaign. He has been featured on 5 million new Verizon phone boxes, on Verizon's ring tone World Wide Web homepage, and featured in theatrical trailers. You can also catch Bolo on the hit Kim del Fierro dance track DJ Song.
Originally hailing from the ATL Black Sun calls South Sac home now. Rapping since age 11 he mastered studio engineering and production because "Every studio I went to back in the day sucked...so I said fuck it and built my own." With over 300 production credits to his name, Black Sun has recently wrapped production on several projects with his production team The Beat Lordz. Working out of The Vault's professional studio the Beat Lordz are scheduled to produce tracks for Bay Area superstars the likes of Mr. Fab and DJ Rock E. Rock.
Finally getting back in the studio in early 2006 Paw Ray is putting the finishing touches on the widely anticipated "Rice and Grits". The lead single "Corner of the Map" is a statement that the West is still here. With guest appearances from Mistah Fab DJ Rocky Rock of the Black Eye Peas the remix to "Corner of the Map" has been a huge mixtape hit.
The Latin inspired Dance for Me featuring Brown Soul will surely make you move even if you dont understand the harmonic hook sang completely in Spanish. Working with Jeepney Music Inc. super-producer Replay, Paw Ray created the guitar driven masterpiece Let Me. This fun track grabs you away from your daily grind and takes you on a trip to an island get-a-way. The Southern Black college band sound of Yal Dont Want It ft. Digady will make you jump all around the car, club, what ever. It's Hyphee meets the Crimson Tide marching band, its bananas.

Paw Ray ft. Digady - Yal Don't Want It

Paw Ray rocks Marine World, Vallejo
Influences: Everything that slaps.
Black Sun grew up mostly in the South so you can hear a lot of that Southern bounce in his flow and production. Bolo being from the Bay was definately influenced by E-40 and a lot the MC's that did their thing in the 90's.
