I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

NPR controls my car radio, but Cheryl Wheeler, Ani DiFranco, Junior Vasquez or my friends' CDs frequently stage a coup. On a spring day you could find me working on my yard or doing home improvements, grilling out on the back deck with my neighbors, playing golf. Other days I might be going to a performance driving school with friends or enjoying a drive down a winding road looking for an antique store, someplace new to explore or just a windier road. A few evenings a week are dedicated to working out, but he rest are up for grabs. I've never been accused of being too serious or too pretentious (or too good at golf, for that matter). I believe that wit and sarcasm are next to godliness and cleanliness is next to impossible. With work on my first CD, my songwriting and performing is making a comeback, much to the joy of my guitar and piano. My cats are still not sure. I am as at-home in the kitchen as I am in the woodshop (the blender IS a power tool!), and I can work most appliances without starting a fire or a flood. I like my wine red and meaty, my meat red and juicy and my juice . well, let's leave juice out of this. I'm a long displaced Cleveland boy who wandered to New England, dot-com'ed in San Fran. and finally made it back east, where I feel most at-home. My passport is current and it is aching to get more exercise. I am the person my friends can trust to keep their confidences, be there, regardless of the time or circumstances, and find something funny in any situation. I can fix almost anything and I have, on occasion, read an instruction manual.

My Interests

Golf - woodworking - keeping track of my keys - North Atlantic Audi Club mumbo jumbo - hitting the apex, not the tirewall - left-rational politics - gadgets and dohickies and whiz-bangs - truth, justics, what-used-to-be-the american way - ending feline bulemia.. or at least getting the cat the 'purge' in the toilet - far more sushi than you think I can eat - trying to be what I would admire.

I'd like to meet:

You. No, not you.. You, on the left. Yeah, You.

Music:

Mine. And, sometimes, other people's

Before the movies ran, back when I was a kid, the theaters projected a psychedelic mishmash on the screen. They wanted us to know that, yes, this theater does show moving pictures and, hey!,...

That Talk

It's about time that we had That Talk.  Strange, the way the Capitalization that shows importance echoes the bio-rhythmic course we've taken, punctuated by CLARITY, fading into vagueness, then WE...
