Madi

I'm the Queen of Guitar Hero. You didn't know that.

About Me

I'm workin' it.

My Interests

I love going to shows, live music keeps me going. Hanging out with my dudes and my chicks also keeps me going. Unfortunately my writing has taken a backseat to VH1 and the wonder that is Flava Flav. But if something can inspire me more than Best Week Ever, bring it on, baby. I love horror flicks. I think that's why my friends call me the Princess of Darkness. It can't have anything to do with the fact that I once dressed up as Ozzy. I like to have adult beverages, they make me laugh and squeal. Pink, the color, not the singer. I love to laugh and when I do it is whole hearted. Appearantly, it's a good one. So tell me a joke.

I'd like to meet:

Rockers and people who rock

Music:

Smashing Pumpkins, Black Sabbath, Bjork, Bowie, Alice In Chains, Tool, AC/DC, Queens of the Stoneage!, Kyuss, Van Halen, KISS, COC, Guns & Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Black Mountain, Alice Cooper, No Doubt, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Rilo Kiley, The Runaways, The Cars, The Donnas, The Lovelies, (any band that starts with The--except The The), and shit loads of classic rock. Of course my boys in Kissinger and my homies in Back Stage Suicide always hold a rockin' piece of my heart.

Movies:

BeetleJuice, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Reality Bites, Detroit Rock City, The Wedding Singer, Zombie, The Royal Tenenbaums, True Romance, John Waters is the gay god of dierctors, I love Tim Burton

Television:

That 70's Show. Sex and the City, Kids in the Hall, The State, (pretty much any sketch comedy), Queer Eye (why oh why is Thom gay?!), Viva La Bam and Jackass because I like to watch hot guys hurt themselves, and Project Runway because you add fashion design, drama, and some gays and you get TV Gold!

Books:

Wuthering Heights, The Vampire Lestat, Alice in Wonderland, Cat's Cradle, Poe

Heroes:

My mom is amazing. My best friend Holly is so noble.

My Blog

Suzi Q

The other night my friend Angie, after a few Sangrias, had an epiphany about whom I reminded her of. She was like, "You are Leather!" I had no idea who she was talking about. Everyone else around m...

bonsoir lune

I have not seen the moon as big as it was tonight in a really long time. It jutted out of its blanket, big, and bright, cut straight down the middle, with only half of it showing, a broken plate in t...

I'm high and it aint the weed

I'm done. I'm done, I'm done, I'm done. It's taken me a long time to get here but I finally made it. Years of blood, sweat, and tears all culminating into the lackluster act of throwing a final pap...

Shakespeare's a Drama Queen

For those of you who really know me, you know how I have always felt about Ol' Shakey (as I like to call him). We never really got along. He's on old English guy who likes showing off and making peo...

Bowie=beautiful

BOWIE! as in David. Last night was a supreme moment for me. I had the chance to see a man that I have loved since I was little but have never been lucky enough to see. It took about half the concer...

Ah, the irony of it all

So, as I watched the Arab Student Association do wriggling dance routines to traditional Iranian music while munching on a Rice Krispy treat that I bought in support of women's right to choose, I just...
