The Dragon Bar was started in 1999 as a breeding ground for artists and musicians. It has long been known as a place of peace and love and is down to earth to say the least- try getting out of our sofas!! It was designed in a style that has been copied time and time again in the area and beyond. The "This Way Up" gallery that ran upstairs had a street art focus (Cable Street have run a couple of seasons recently) but we have had shows from every aspect of the art world. We have dj's most nights and SUNDAY CYPHER a hip hop open mic session feat live musical elements- from 1 bluesy guitar to 2 bands jammin together with mc's, singers and scratch dj's. This runs on 1st and 3rd sundays in the month-NOT TO BE MISSED!!
