Hello in scenario paintball circles I'm known by my callsign "Squib" I'm the team captain of Team Death Ace. My friend Woodtick and I first started playing paintball 15 years ago in a section of woods behind an old school with a couple of splatmasters., Back then we bought our paint in tubes of ten at 25 cents per ball. We put on some old camo and with just the two of us spent nearly a whole day trying to find each other in that large wooded area. At that time paintball was hardly known in our hometown so we played each other. Fast forward a few fields and a few years . in 2000 Woodtick and I decided to form a scenario team called "Team Death Ace" named for the ace of spade cards used in military psychological operations. Then in 2005 International Falls was graced with it's first official paintball field called Northwoods paintball (Our home field) . I ref at this field when ever I'm not involved with construction and playing at events. Northwoods Paintball sports a great woodsball / scenario field, speedball field and rental shop. Also In 2005 I embarked on my most ambitious paintball project to this day, a paintball tank. Made from a coot , with materials sponsored by Northwoods Paintball and many months of work we completed our war machine. Our tank is used in many of the events at our home field and on ocassion, we take it to out of state events. Team Death Ace attends two out of town events a year which are the bi-annual Giant Big Games in Hudson WI. Our team is always looking for a good game and new teammates who are as hard core as we are. Have a look around and Don't forget to check out the photos. -SquibSquib:
