Saint Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale
A Sikh martyr who came to the defense of Sikhs who, under Indira Ghandi, were subjected to the Naqli Nirankaris, who wanted Sikhs to start shaving and to drop their individuality and assimilate into Hinduism.
Bhindranwale was killed during the attack on the Golden Temple at Amritsar in 1984, fought for the rights of Sikhs to control their own land: Khalistan.
