THIS SONG GOES OUT TO MY LATE HUSBAND KENNY, GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN ...
Someone who is down to earth, respectful of others and a man of his word. Someone not too controlling, but who is willing to take his role as the spiritual leader of the relationship. Someone that is not so passive that I can run all over them, but an equal, that is willing to really take the lead as a REAL man. Basically, a person that makes me laugh, will let me cry, and has my back if I've got theirs. I am a firm believer that laughter can change a bad day to a good and a good day to fantastic. I want a guy that's not afraid to talk about God or admit he's a Christian - not that I am a saint. But I do try to life my life the best way I know how. I still love to go out, play pool, dance a little ... and I can find humor in just about anything. I need someone compassionate that doesn't take life so serious or carry around so much pain that they are afraid to open up their heart. As far as attraction ... physical is great, but the mental has to be there too. As for the rest, just friends can be great too as long as they are genuine and without an agenda. Life is too short to play games, so "give me my roses while I'm still here."
Hip hop, Reggae, R&B, some rap, old school soul, blues and some alternative music
Comedy, suspense, action and feel good dramas
Sit-coms - especially "Will & Grace", they are the best!! I think "Desperate Housewives" is clever and "Grey's Anatomy" is intringuing, but will keep you laughing and hanging on until next week...
"The Color of Water" - a black man's tribute to his white Jewish mother
My late husband, Kenny Wayne. May he rest in peace. Also my Daddy, who was the hardest working, most humble man I've ever known. I know he's looking down from heaven with Kenny Wayne and my sweet Mother. I wish they had myspace.com in heaven so I could talk to them just one more time. I never got to say "Goodbye"...
